Ponte Vecchio
Trattoria Italiana
After over 18 years, we are in our final weeks of trading.
Our last evening service will be Friday 12th June.
Until then, it's mostly business as normal, with a few small changes as we start to shut down:
Please be aware that we are no longer able to take card payments.
Cash or BACS are the way to pay going forwards.
Our landline phone is due to be disconnected shortly, so please call or text 07813 109449 for all enquiries.
Our takeaway service continues to run alongside our dine in service,
but with reduced slots so that Alice can cope in the kitchen.
We still ask for meals to be preordered the day before your booking.
Alice has written one last menu that is, as ever, very adaptable to special diets. We are also happy to provide simpler meals for picky eaters. This last menu has been written with the stock from our larder in mind, to ensure as little waste as possible and features a lot of homegrown produce which we are very proud to be able to use.
To those of you who are unable to come and sit down for a meal,
please come and say a quick goodbye if you are passing.
As ever, thank you for being such wonderful customers + fierce supporters.
Trattoria Ponte Vecchio would have been nothing without you.
We aim to recreate the passion of the Italian family table, and the charm, intimacy + atmosphere of our favourite venues in our beloved Firenze.

Get your dinner to go
Preorder your meal + drinks from this month's menu + arrange your collection.
Our dishes will be given to you in insulated Vegware containers to keep them warm. If you're taking your food out for a picnic, don't forget your cutlery + napkins, as we will not be able to provide any.
Gelato to go
Stop by, or schedule a collection of our homemade gelato - available in tubs or cones.
Find the current flavour list on our social media pages or give us a call to make sure we have what you're looking for.
We don't use stabilisers or additives in our gelati so don't forget a cool box if you're not eating them immediately.

Closing the loop
We are taking responsibility for the waste our takeaways produce.
We have chosen plant-based disposable Vegware to serve our takeaways in; but these can only be composted in a commercial setting, so we are doing our bit to close the waste loop. We believe that we are the first Hereford restaurant to have invested in a hot composter that will process Vegware, along with our food waste + we ask you to return our Vegware containers to us once you have finished using them.
*so that we don't have more waste than we can handle, please don't bring takeaway containers from other businesses.
